VTG 1981 Lladro Two Girls with Dog & Parasol Porcelain Figurine Retired 1981 19

RARE, Retired Vintage 1981 Lladro Porcelain "Two Girls with Parasol and a Spaniel, " measuring 19" in height, 10" in length and 8 in depth! This MINT condition sculpture is perfect in every detail, from the lovely pink and white porcelain 5 3/4" width parasol with its 8" length metallic handle, to the delicate fingers on the girls, the adorable spaniel in their lap, and the large sun hat. Note their serene expressions as they gaze at their puppy. I have been unable to find the artist who created this piece, but he put features into the girls' clothing like the "lace" at the cuff of their sleeves and the lovely bodice and details of their skirts. It is amazing that this piece has survived intact for 42 years! It is rendered in Lladro's soft muted colors of taupe, blue, gray and white, with the exception of the pink edging on the parasol, and it has a high gloss finish.

The delicate porcelain on the parasol has been created to look like intricate lace. The parasol can be removed from the girl's hand, and will be wrapped separately to ensure it doesn't get broken in transit.

This sculpture is quite large and weighs an impressive 10 pounds. It will be double boxed and wrapped in multi-layers of bubble wrap.
