Vintage Rare Lladro Porcelain Dog Possible Pre Production Prototype Matte Finish

This Lladro dog was in my great aunt's collection. She was a nurse in WW2. I have searched and searched for a similar dog and have come close, but I just can't find one.

This one has a matte finish and does NOT have a snail. There appears to be a stain or what I believe to be paint that is similar to the color on the snail of the figures that have the snail. Or maybe I just have no idea?
