Vintage Lladro Spain Afghan Hound Dog Statue Figurine Retired #1069 11.75
Looking for a Forever Home. Lladro Spain porcelain figurine #1069 Afghan Hound dog in excellent, gift quality condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing tho there is shelf wear to the base. Issued in 1969 and retired in 1985. He is 11 1/2" by 6". I'm seeing that many of the listings for this piece are touting that this is a "rare" piece.
I don't think this is a rare mold however, this particular dog may be. All the others I'm seeing have a glossy glaze but this dog has a bisque finish, which is unusual. He is truly beautiful and has big, warm brown eyes and a very kissable nose. A must have for any collector!
