Retired Lladro 4563 Edwardian Couple With Parasol & Small Dog
Designer / Sculptor: Fulgencio Garcia. Year introduced: 1969 Discontinued / retired: 1985. One of Lladro's largest and most decorative pieces, this wonderful sculpture of a fashionably dressed Edwardian couple with a parasol and small dog stands 19-1/2 high. It has been out of production for 35 years. Stamped twice with the Lladro blue tulip mark and incised on the base as shown below. NOTE: The gentleman is missing his cane.
But I believe it is only a thin wood spear affixed with glue and could certainly be replaced. This figurine appears to be otherwise excellent; a superb addition to your Lladro collection!
