This Lladro 5450 is the "I Hope She Does" figurine from the Youth Collection. It's in a MATTE finish. It depicts a young boy sitting with his faithful dog, reciting "She loves me", "She loves me not" as he pulls petals from a flower - hoping she does! A MATTE finish is a dull finish (without glaze), the muted colorings create a lovely soft earthy. Tone changing the presentation of the piece. This also comes in a traditional glazed finish. Spanish Name: Nino Deshojando Margrita (Boy with leafless daisy). Issued in 1987 and retired in 1991. Measures: 5 1/2"T x 5 1/4"W x 5D. Full blue Lladro stamp & blue flower logo backstamp.
