This is the largest Lladro I've ever seen and it is full of life and gaiety with three men drinking from a barrel of ale or perhaps wine. The piece, identified by Lladro as Happy Drinkers and on the figure's attached label as Tavern Drinkers was created in 1977 by Salvador Furio and retired in 1985 and is numbered 4956. It is about 16" wide, 9" deep and almost 16 tall.
I'm including it because it fits and these fellows wouldn't mind sharing a bit with a forlorn looking stray dog, I'm sure. Vagabond Dog was created in 1974 by Juan Huerta and retired in 1981. The figure weighs 22 pounds before packing, so is quite the substantial statement piece. This figure has no damage.
