This is the Lladro (Spain) headstudy of an English Setter dog, model 2045, produced exclusively in the Gres finish. This piece has been retired from production since 1981.

It is seldom seen and incredibly beautiful. A large piece, it measures 8" tall by 11" long by 6 wide. Absolutely outstanding modeling and decoration. The Setter has a very kind expression, and the ears flow beautifully around the throat.
